Located in Sunset Ridge, in Cochrane, Alberta, Sunrise Learning Centre is a preschool-style licensed Dayhome with an emphasis on education, active play, and fun! Staffed by a primary teacher and an experienced home educator, so our ratios guarantee your child lots of one-on-one attention.
Sunrise is a place where your child will spend the day in a learning environment. Your child will be treated with respect, gentleness and love!
Since we are a licensed dayhome, government child care subsidies are available.
Hours of Operation: 7am to 5:15pm, Monday to Friday.
We will provide for your child’s educational needs by helping prepare them for school in a fun and relaxed way.
We work to create a safe learning environment so we can earn your child’s trust and support their development.
We value fresh air and sunshine, and the learning opportunities that can be found in our beautiful outdoors!
Connie and Caitlin are a mother/daughter team who are educated in childcare, and have a genuine love for children.

Education
Caitlin has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa, and she has taught preschool in Cochrane for the past year. She has a current ECE3 designation through the province of Alberta. Connie has her ECE1 from the province of Alberta, and is an experienced home educator and grandmother.
Nutrition
Here at Sunrise Learning Centre we love to cook! We take the nutritional needs of your children very seriously, and we will provide tasty and nutritious snacks and meals. We will post weekly meal plans so you and your children will know what is coming up, and we will involve your children in cooking and baking, for a fun learning experience!
Daily Photos
We love to take photos of what the children are doing. You can count on getting regular texts or emails with pictures of your child having fun with the group!

Sunrise Learning Centre is now offically open! We are located in the Sunset Ridge community of Cochrane, Alberta.
We have openings available, and we would love to have the opportunity to meet you and your child to see if we are a good fit for your family’s needs.
